1, Comply with the General Illinois Real Estate License Requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Hold a high school diploma, GED or equivalent in another country
• Have a Social Security Number or Tax ID Number
• Be of good moral character

2. Meet the Educational Real Estate License Requirements in Illinois by completing the following courses – Enroll Today

• • A total of 75 hours of pre-license coursework at a real estate school approved by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • 60-hour IL Broker Pre-license Topics Course can be taken through online self study (the 60 hour course is not licensed as online interactive LMS)
  • 15-hour IL Broker Pre-license Applied RE Principles-Interactive course must be taken interactively in a classroom, by webinar, or through online distance education

3. Take the Illinois real estate license exam

• • You will need a score of  70% for the National Portion and 75% for the State Portion or better to pass your Illinois Real Estate license exam.

Online Limitations

The 75 hours of Broker pre-license coursework is made up of two courses:
-IL Broker Pre-license Topics (60 hours)
-IL Broker Pre-license Applied RE Principles-Interactive (15 hours)

 THE UNIFORM REAL ESTATE TRANSCRIPT RECEIVED FROM AHI IS VALID FOR TWO YEARS FOLLOWING THE COMPLETION OF PRE-LICENSE COURSES. TWO YEARS IS BASED UPON THE COMPLETION DATE FOR EACH OF THE PRE-LICENSE COURSES. COURSES MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN TWO YEARS OF THE EXAM DATE.

• You CANNOT schedule your exam until you have passed all AHI’s required courses and finals with a 75%.
